Benjamin Porter receives SPARC grant.

Professor Benjamin Porter has been awarded a grant to conduct a geophysical survey at the Iron Age settlement of Busayra in southwest Jordan from the National Science Foundation-funded Spatial Archaeometry Research Collaborations (SPARC) at the University of Arkansas. The project is called "Measuring Household Economies in Iron Age Southwest Jordan: An Archaeological Case Study from Edomite Busayra” and consists of $20,500 of in-kind contributions for geophysical technical equipment, research personnel, data processing, and student training.
