Lisa Eberle, 2014

In September 2014, after six years as a graduate student in AHMA, one and a half of which she spent as a doctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Legal History in Frankfurt am Main, Lisa Eberle moved to St. John's College, Oxford to take up a four-year postdoctoral fellowship. As a Junior Research Fellow at St. John's she will convert her dissertation on the Roman diaspora's contribution to the institutional architecture of the Roman Empire into a monograph, and also hopes to make headway on her new project exploring the political and moral economies of debt in ancient Greek and Roman cities.
