AHMA students Erin Lawrence and Abigail Hoskins are amongst those who will be presenting reports from the field for the 2019 season

Erin studies 5th and 4th century BCE Athenian sculpture and will discuss the study of sculptures from the Temple of Ares in the Athenian Agora. Abigail studies magic, divination, and ritual in the ancient Mediterranean world and spaces of cultural contact and exchange.  She will present the motivating research questions and recent archaeobotanical work at the site of Tel-Kabri in Northern Israel.
