Job Placement

Student Professionalization

AHMA offers its students workshops and individual support in navigating the academic as well as the non-academic (sometimes called alt-ac) job market. Workshops focus on external grant applications and job cover letters. Mock interviews and practice job talks are organized for students who are seeking jobs, and AHMA students are always included in the activities of the Placement Committee of the Department of Ancient Greek and Roman Studies (formerly known as Classics).
